NEED OF PROPER EDUCATION SYSTEM

Good education is the key factor which helps in the progress of a country. Education plays vital role in economic, cultural and industrial development of a country. It is not just to pass on the information, it is cognitive mapping of reliable access to optimal states of mind wherein gaining knowledge and comprehension, includes thinking, knowing, remembering, judging and problem solving.

A proper education system does not merely produce degrees in the country, it brings forward a nation of sophisticated approach that have enough skills and abilities to confront today's advanced world. With the upcoming challanges, globalization and rapid scientific advancements, it has become today's strong need to restructure our education system as the knowledge and skills that an educated person will need in next 20 years will be markedly different from what the current school systems are providing.

Therefore, to lead the future, we must design the curriculum of upcoming generation in a way that may develop the personalities with knowledge, critical thinking, analysis, leadership abilities (both yourself and others) and last but not least with moral and ethical characteristics. Education and training are an excellent means of social and cultural unity and a considerable economic asset with a view to making our country a competitive and dynamic society. It is necessary to improve the quality of training for teachers and trainers and make a special effort to acquire the basic skills, which must be updated in order to keep pace with changes in the knowledge world.

The role of teachers cannot be underestimated when we discuss quality education. The better a teacher is trained, the better he or she can educate tomorrow's generation of Pakistan. Infact, its teacher's personality that shape the future generation, therefore, the training of such an important functionary must conceivably get the highest priority. Only those teachers can shoulder the heavy responsibilities of nation building, who are adequately prepared and have sound professional attitude. Ongoing professional development keeps teachers up-to-date on new research on how children can learn more effectively. Developed nations always forsee the upcoming problems, and before time take action for a smooth progress. It is therefore, the need of the time to develop future strategies for the future generation of Pakistan to reap a better future.

  1. Exactly!! If this current generation don't take action, then coming generation won't forgive us.
We should team up, and do something.

    1. Agreed !!! Everybody has to play the role effectively fulfilling the responsibilities honestly. And if each one of us would become honest with our own work only, that too would bring massive change generally.

Being honest, we can give ideas for the country's improvement, and the ones in power have to utilize these accordingly. Here I would like to share my article "Little Drops of Water Make the Mighty Ocean" http://pakistanidea.com/forums/topic/4/little-drops-of-water-make-the-m/view/post_id/25 conveying the same theme.

      All the best!
