What's Innovation? How to get it implemented?

Innovation is to reorganise your thoughts by making them more appealing and different that society / public / businesses could take interest. It is to reshape  your ideas with a unique perspective. Innovation can also be defined as fresh thinking.

In modern busy life, the strongest role of media and technology has made the market more challenging and intricate, wherein to make your space, you have to stand out of the crowd. Standing out of the crowd in other terms is innovation, something that is being done differently.

In "The laws of imitation" wherein "diffusion of innovation research was first started in 1903 by seminal researcher Gabriel Tarde, who first plotted the S-shaped diffusion curve. Tarde in 1903 defined the innovation-decision process as a series of steps that includes

  1. First knowledge
  2. Forming an attitude
  3. A decision to adopt or reject
  4. Implementation and use
  5. Confirmation of the decision"

To elaborate it further, you need to have comprehensive knowledge, develop your attitude, reorganize your mental powers to adopt a habit of making the right decision at the right time. Get the decisions implemented and do not procrastinate matters unnecessarily. There are millions of people, who bring ideas, but then get lethargic when it's the time to get the ideas implemented. Bringing the ideas into practical world is like a chain, when you break the chain, you stand nowhere.

"To Have Success ... Be YourSelf". Being others is to follow the repeated trends, the world is already familiar with, being yourself is being unique because Nature brought you into this world for a unique cause by giving you the unique strengths. It's upto you to explore your own inner world.

Noam Kostucki, UK's award winning speaker and author also stresses innovation, that is to reunite, redefine olders ideas and merge them with a unique perspective of your own. His remarkable book, "You are Your Brand" is worth reading. It redefines your mind, makes your thoughts united to progress yourself.

Another way of innovation is to listen to your customers' needs. A survey by Business Week explores; "Nokia learned that phones had to be more durable, since they're often the most expensive item these customers will buy. To function in a tropical climate, it made the phones more moisture-resistant. It even used special screens that are more legible in bright sunlight" As a result, it won customers' confidence.

Having the noticeable effects on efficiency, increase in quality of life, and a productive growth, innovation is being stressed in many countries like Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, sports, science and technology, Germany’s Federal Ministry of Education and Research and Ministry of Science and Technology in the People’s Republic of China. Furthermore, Russia’s innovation programme aims at creating a diversified economy based on high technology and innovation. Also, the Government of Western Australia has established a number of innovation incentives for government departments.

It is therefore a high time to rethink, reestablish, and re-innovate our life styles to be a part of this modern world provided you want progress.
